The Latino Cultural Center (LCC), operated by the City of Dallas Office of Arts & Culture, is a dynamic arts and cultural institution dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and development of Latino and Hispanic arts and culture. Since opening its doors in 2003, the Center has served as a creative hub for artists, performers, educators, and community organizations throughout North Texas.

The LCC produces and hosts a wide range of events—from film screenings, exhibitions, and theater performances to festivals like the annual Día de los Muertos celebration—that engage and inspire audiences of all ages. Its programs emphasize artistic excellence, cultural education, and community collaboration, ensuring that Dallas’ rich Latino heritage continues to thrive and evolve.

The Center’s iconic building, designed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta, is a symbol of cultural pride and creativity, reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of the community it serves.

Mission Statement:
To serve as a catalyst for the preservation, development, and promotion of Latino and Hispanic arts and culture in Dallas.
