Texas Rose Festival Association, Inc.

Founded in 1933, the Texas Rose Festival Association preserves and promotes the rich horticultural heritage of Tyler, Texas—proudly known as the “Rose Capital of America.” Each year, the association plans and produces the multi-day Texas Rose Festival, a beloved East Texas tradition celebrating the city’s legacy of rose cultivation, community pride, and Southern pageantry.

The Association’s volunteer-led efforts bring together civic leaders, local businesses, and families for events including the Queen’s Coronation, Queen’s Tea, and the Texas Rose Parade—all symbolizing the grace, beauty, and community spirit of Tyler.

Beyond the festival, the organization supports the Texas Rose Festival Museum and Archives, which houses historical gowns, photographs, and memorabilia chronicling over nine decades of cultural history.
