DESCRIPTION:San Antonio’s Mariachi Extravaganza brings student vocalists and ensembles together for competitions\, instruction and a grand finale featuring Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán. \nThe December 3–5\, 2026 program takes place at Lila Cockrell Theatre\, 900 E Market St\, San Antonio\, TX 78205. This record is a festival date range\, not continuous admission. \n\nDecember 3: opening at 4 p.m.; vocal semifinals 4:30–10 p.m.; doors at 3 p.m.\nDecember 4: registered workshops 8:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.; group semifinals 1–10 p.m.\nDecember 5: competition finals 10 a.m.–2 p.m.; finale concert 7:30–10:30 p.m.\n\nAll times CST. Competition wristbands are $25 with registration or $30 at the box office and cover the three days of competitions. Concert tickets and workshop registration are separate.
