The final day of Muertos Fest 2025 brings one more unforgettable celebration of remembrance, art, and community spirit to Hemisfair. From noon to 9 p.m., visitors can experience the full vibrancy of San Antonio’s Día de los Muertos traditions with live music, dance, altars, and immersive cultural experiences.
Explore more than 80 community ofrendas, each lovingly designed by families, artists, and organizations to honor ancestors and tell their stories through art and symbolism. The Muertos Mercado continues with handcrafted jewelry, folk art, decor, and Day of the Dead–inspired creations, while food vendors offer regional favorites and refreshments throughout the park.
Across five outdoor stages, performances fill the day with rhythm and energy—from mariachi and Latin rock to folklórico, spoken word, and contemporary acts. The children’s pavilion and creative workshops invite families to learn about Día de Muertos traditions through fun, hands-on activities.
At 3:00 p.m., the festival’s second Grand Procession takes place, a joyful and emotional parade featuring dancers, puppeteers, musicians, and community groups carrying offerings and tributes. As the sun sets, the final performances and altar viewings bring the weekend to a heartfelt close—celebrating not only the lives of those remembered but the unity and creativity of all who gather to honor them.
Admission is free and open to everyone. Bring family, friends, and photos of your loved ones to contribute to the community altar and be part of San Antonio’s most meaningful cultural tradition.
