Join the Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center (ESB-MACC) for its 18th Annual Day of the Dead Festival, a free, family-friendly celebration that honors ancestors and brings the community together in remembrance.
From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the festival offers:
A collective outdoor ofrenda (altar) where attendees may contribute photos, notes, and mementos in memory of loved ones
Art installations and curated altar displays that explore themes of heritage, memory, life, and transience
Hands-on cultural activities, crafts, face painting, and traditional storytelling for all ages
A child-friendly atmosphere: bring folding chairs, strollers, and refillable water bottles for your comfort
Complimentary shuttle service from the East Holly Street neighborhood to the festival site
Admission is free, and no RSVP is required. This is an alcohol-free event.
