Patton Hall (RLP) at the University of Texas at Austin is one of the premier academic buildings within the College of Liberal Arts, serving as a vibrant hub for interdisciplinary learning, cultural dialogue, and intellectual exchange. Located in the heart of the UT Austin campus, the facility is home to several departments including History, Philosophy, Spanish and Portuguese, and Middle Eastern Studies.

Patton Hall offers modern lecture halls, seminar rooms, and event spaces equipped with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology—making it an ideal venue for lectures, symposia, and cultural events that draw participants from across Texas and beyond. The building’s design emphasizes open collaboration and accessibility, reflecting the university’s broader mission of fostering public engagement and inclusive scholarship.

With its central location near the UT Tower and the Blanton Museum of Art, Patton Hall has become a key setting for events that highlight the intersection of academia and public life. It regularly hosts guest lectures, graduate colloquia, student showcases, and public humanities programming sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts and its affiliated institutes.
